Your new role This role presents a thrilling opportunity to supervise the process of financial and management reporting. You'll also be responsible for managing taxation compliance, which includes income tax, GST, and other tax-related matters. This role offers the chance to enhance systems and collaborate with a supportive and ambitious team. Reporting to the Finance Controller, this position promises diverse learning opportunities, continuous growth, and career progression. Your responsibilities may encompass:

Monthly Management Reporting: Oversee the monthly reporting process, including the preparation of management accounts for the Group for Board Reporting, ensuring that reporting aligns with IFRS.
Annual Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing statutory accounts for group entities, including the preparation of all supporting documentation required for the annual external audit.
Account Monitoring and Reconciliation: Monitor and reconcile key account ledger accounts and supervise reconciliation performed by other Finance staff.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to the Group's Capital Expenditure policy, asset and project expenditure classification. Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulatory requirements, assist with asset revaluations and reporting.
Legislative Compliance: Lead compliance with the legislative requirements of GST, payroll tax, FBT, and other employment taxes, including the preparation of all applicable monthly returns for the Group.
Budget Maintenance: Maintain budgets, cost centre & GL structures, material codes, expenditure allocation, and management reporting structures in the financial system.

What you'll need to succeed For this role, we're seeking an individual with robust technical skills in financial and management accounting, who can articulate results and data effectively to both stakeholders and those without a financial background. The ideal candidate will hold a CPA or CA qualification and have experience in financial reporting, monthly management accounting, and compliance with internal controls.
