Position: Senior Medical Officer

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional medical care to patients in a regional healthcare setting, demonstrating compassion and empathy in all interactions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the diverse needs of each patient.
• Adapt and respond to changing healthcare environments and evolving patient needs with versatility and flexibility.
• Uphold a culture of accountability by adhering to best practices and standards of care, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Foster collaboration and teamwork among colleagues and stakeholders to enhance healthcare delivery and community well-being.
Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent).
• General medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Credentialing as a Senior Medical Officer (including General Practitioner).
• Desirable: Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, or Australian College of Emergency Medicine.
Mandatory Employment Requirements:
• Satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement and as required thereafter.
• Employment is subject to compliance with the Organisation Health Care Worker’s Immunizations guidelines, including three doses of the COVID-19 vaccination and the current seasonal influenza vaccination.
