The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Logistics Trainee to join our team at our Cameron Park office. As a Logistics Trainee, you will have the chance to work closely with various departments and stakeholders, assisting with a variety of logistics-related tasks and gaining exposure to the inner workings of our operations team.
This position has been designated for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people only under the provisions of section 126 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
In this role you will gain broad exposure to a variety of logistics responsibilities including:
Assist with the coordination of bin deliveries/collections and waste collections to maximise run efficiency
Assist in analysing and optimising operations processes
Support the logistics team in maintaining accurate records and documentation
Communicate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders
Take on new responsibilities and learn new skills as required
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent qualification
Willingness to complete tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
