Darwin Electric Motor Rewind is a locally owned and operated business in the Northern Territory, Australia provides services to the mining, oil and gas, and local industries,specialising in rewinding both low and high-voltage electric motors, generators, transformers (DC and AC) coils, and armatures, 0-2000Kw.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Assembling, testing and repairing electrical motors to conform with electrical regulations and safety standards
Identify and record required parts for repairs
Overhauling and rewinding high and low-voltage electric motors
Dismantle, reassemble motors
Clean, repair, and overhaul bearings
Prepare reports as required and complete job sheets in an accurate and timely manner.
Report any quality or safety Issues to the Managing Director or the Quality Manager
Undertake other duties as directed by the Managing Director
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and the Quality Management System ISO 9001 and AS/NZ 3800
Selection Criteria:
At least 3 years of relevant industry experience
Certificate III or IV or equivalent qualification in the home country
Excellent writing and speaking skills
Ability to work with a team
