Auto Electrician
We are currently seeking suitably experienced and qualified personnel for the position of an Auto Electrician based at our Kalgoorlie workshop. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for repairing all electrical faults and maintaining Force and customer equipment ensuring availability and integrity.
The successful applicants will be responsible for:
Focus on safe working environment and quality of workmanship;
Ongoing repairs and maintenance Force Equipment and customer equipment;
Troubleshoot faults including experience with OEM diagnostic systems;
Maintenance and repairs on Caterpillar, Liebherr, Hitachi and Komatsu equipment, within budgets and time frames;
Working with Force Equipment customer to meet company objectives; and
Quality control on all work performed.
Your Skills and Experience
Nationally recognised Auto Electrician trade qualification;
Nationally accredited Automotive Air-conditioning licence;
Ability to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised;
A dedicated attitude to following OHS policies and procedures;
Must be able to pass pre-employment medical along with police and regular drug and alcohol tests;
Good communication skills;
Sound knowledge of Caterpillar / Komatsu equipment and systems would be an advantage; and
High Risk licence would be desirable but not essential.
