CITY OF PARRAMATTA COUNCIL FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING MANAGER PERMANENT ROLE Paying $137k - $151k Super Experience within another Local Government Council highly appreciated     POSITION OVERVIEW The Manager is responsible for leading and building a capable team of professionals who provide financial accounting information and asset management solutions, ensuring that all statutory obligations are met, accounting standards abided by and that accounting services are delivered efficiently to support quality financial operations across the Council. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepare, review, and analyse statutory annual financial statements and other regulatory returns and liaise with the Financial Accounting, Treasury & Payables Manager.• Prepare, maintain, and review balance sheet reconciliations and all subsidiary ledgers, reserve accounts and monthly reporting processes and procedures, including reporting and recommendation. • Ensure financial controls and processes are implemented and maintained across financial accounts, implementing and tracking audit action items as required. • Review, monitor and analyse financial reporting including baseline variance analysis. • Maintenance…
