Embrace the opportunity to lead as the Group Manager Fleet and Depot Operations within the City Assets and Operations Directorate at City of Parramatta. Reporting directly to the Executive Director City Assets and Operations, this newly uplifted position will play a pivotal role in managing depot operations, fleet, stores, and inventory management to achieve Council's vision of becoming a global city. About the role:   Lead a capable, multidisciplinary team to achieve Council’s strategic objectives.  Oversee the management of Councils Fleet, Trades, Stores and Mechanical Workshop services and deliver best practice policies and procedures to support these services.  Procure and manage the whole of life of Council assets.  Manage systems, processes, and people to ensure sufficient availability of safe, well-maintained fleet, plant and equipment.  Influence, negotiate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Council’s fleet is fit for purpose and meets with the needs of Council.  Manage the planning and execution of Council’s…
