Geology Technician

Geology Technician Northern Star Resources have a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Geology Technician. This opportunity is offered as residential in the Goldfields working a family friendly roster of 8/6, 11-hour days. The successful candidate will assist in the collection and processing of geological samples to ensure the provision of timely and accurate data for subsequent analysis by Geologists. Typical Tasks: Meter marking, photographing, cutting, and sample collection of diamond core is completed in a timely manner and is in line with core processing priorities. Appropriate QAQC samples are included in all submissions. Sample submissions are completed in a timely manner with no errors. Transport of samples to the offsite laboratory Storage & accurate Cataloguing of diamond core in the core farm is completed thoroughly and in line with procedure.
