We are looking for a Fitter/Welder for ongoing work for a longstanding food manufacturing facility located in Silverwater. $50/hr Day shift 10am-6pm Great Team Culture Required Tickets and Licences Trade qualification as a Fitter or relevant mechanical trade certification (Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade) EWP Licence Forklift licence (desirable) Drivers Licence About You: Previous experience as a Fitter, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Proficient in MIG, TIG and Arc Welding Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with various hand and power tools used in fitting and machining. Physically fit and can lift loads up to 15kg Be able to work in tight areas, at heights and able to work in different environments with possible exposure to dirt/dust, fumes/gases, heat/high temperatures.
