Senior Finance Officer

Randstad is representing a well known Federal Government department to recruit a Senior Finance Officer. Responsibilities: Manage month end activities for various funding sources including preparing, reviewing, and posting monthly journals including accruals. Reconciliations of various complex natural accounts, cost centers and projects. Updating forecasting monthly in line with current activities and strategic priorities. Ensuring the general ledger is maintained in an accurate manner. Preparing monthly management reports and Dashboards for Senior Executives. Undertake in-depth financial trend and variance analysis where required. Assist with the bi-annual budget development and management for various funding sources The financial management of property assets Provide periodic analysis and reporting to support Branch activities and ensure quality assurance. Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders, internal and external, to identify opportunities, achieve outcomes and facilitate cooperation.
