Yard Hand/Machine operator

Randstad are looking for a yard hand/Plant Operator for local work in Blayney, Regional NSW, Australia The primary responsibilities of this role include opening tins of paint, pouring liquid contents, and handling hazardous materials after training. Additionally, the role involves manual handling tasks such as lifting tins weighing up to 25kg. Approximately 10% of the duties involve forklift driving. The facility also includes other plant equipment such as a compactor machine and a crusher used for tin crushing operations. Key Responsibilities: Safely open tins of paint using a screwdriver and pour liquid contents as required. Handle hazardous materials following appropriate training and safety protocols. Perform manual handling tasks including lifting tins weighing up to 25kg. Operate a forklift as needed (forklift ticket required).
