About the role Bathurst Regional Council is currently seeking two (2) Water Services Operator/Labourers to join the Water & Waste Section of Council's Engineering Department. The Water Services Operator/Labourers will be responsible for supporting the Water Service Operator to carry out a variety of tasks as required within Council's Water & Waste section in order to satisfy the requirements of the relevant Australian plumbing codes and other required standards. Key Requirements Current NSW Class C Driver's Licence General Construction for Induction (White Card) Knowledge of pipe laying for water and wastewater applications Experience in the utilisation of small plant used in the construction industry Proven ability to work effectively as a team member Logical thinking skills Adequate numeracy & literacy skills to fulfil the requirements of the position Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, requiring considerable amounts of labouring work Ability to work overtime and on call (including weekends) as required.
