Your New Company/Role:
As one of the established and renowned child care and early learning industries, my client is looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their team based in the Headquarters - due to remarkable growth. This is a permanent full time opportunity.
About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to a supportive and nurturing Corporate Reporting Manager, you must have exposure in end to end Accounts Payable exposure :
Process all functions related to Accounts Payable including;
- monitoring and responding to accounts emails from external and internal parties
- accurate and timely data entry of invoices
- collation of pay runs adhering to terms of payment
- providing remittance advices
- reconciliation of invoices against supplier statements
- attending to unreconciled items by liaising with appropriate team member and/or supplier
Assistance with statutory obligations; collating invoices for review from external auditors and collection of expense information as required.
General Accounting duties including bank reconciliations
Maintaining accounts payable guidelines by enforcing policies and procedures.
Assist with month end accounting procedures and with the production of regular reports and metrics as required.
Lead and develop 2 direct reports
Provide some support within accounting duties - reporting, reconciliations
Ad-hoc administration tasks as required
Ideal Profile
To contribute their valuable knowledge and experience within the Accounting function:
Diploma/Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
A minimum of 3 years (or equivalent) demonstrated related experience in similar position
Demonstrated knowledge and experience within end to end AP environment
Experience in large Accounting ERP systems
Intermediate Excel knowledge
Excellent communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain ongoing effective relationships with stakeholders

$90,000 - $97,000 + Super (Based on experience) - Can go slightly more
