Searson Buck are looking for a Team Leader/Machine Operator in partnership with Mornington Park Waste Transfer Station. Mornington Park Waste Transfer Station supports waste minimisation and a reduction of waste to landfill through the reprocessing and recycling of materials. About the role: We are looking for an energetic and motivated person to manage the day-to-day operations of machine operators, drivers, and labourers by leading and contributing to a professional team environment by ensuring high levels of safety, quality, efficiency, and customer support. Key Requirements:
Experienced in leading a small team with the capacity to step up when required.
Lead by example & be driven by company values to achieve desired outcomes.
Encourage team members to excel in their roles with a "can do" attitude.
Able to look outside the square, identify tasks with ability to delegate.
Have a keen eye for detail, strong OH&S focus, and compliance awareness.
Experience operating Excavator machines - 20T.
Experience operating Front End Loader.
To be successful in the role you must have:
Excavator license
Front End Loader license
HR or HC would be an advantage.
White Card
Forklift license (desirable)
Traffic Control ticket (desirable)
First Aid (desirable)
