Your new role Working as a Contracts Manager in ASDEFCON, this position will give you exposure to complex defence contracts working alongside a diverse and talented team. Key Responsibilities
Management of Contracts and Standing Offers
Supporting Bids and Projects with contract and project administration support
Analysis and review of customer non-technical requirements
Developing a comprehensive knowledge of the technical requirements and its relationship to the schedule and associated priorities
Checking all non-technical elements of the solution proposed, and the dependencies required for its delivery
Supporting the Capture/Bid team in identifying contractual requirements
Managing changes to the contract baseline
Managing contractual disagreements
Ensuring all contractual obligations are completed
Continuing to build knowledge and experience of Contract / Commercial Management principles and actively contribute at all levels
What you'll need to succeed
Ability to obtain NV1 (Australian Citizen)
Knowledge of ASDEFCON contracting framework
Strong attention to detail
Commercial and financial acumen
Strong written and oral communication skills
Sound business, commercial, and regulatory knowledge and experience
Advanced level of skill with Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience in contract management, legal, commercial or project management
Successful track record in the provision of contract support that has facilitated the delivery of successful projects and business outcomes
