Our client, a well-established and reputable Legal Firm, have a rare Trust and Accounts Officer opportunity within their Gold Coast office. You will be responsible for the management of the firm's Trust Account and controlled money accounts. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key duties will include: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of trust regulations and ensure compliance with firm policies. Take complete ownership of firm trust and controlled monies processing, including receipts, payments, investing funds and withdrawals. Ensure accuracy in data input and demonstrate ability to work autonomously without direct supervision. Provide second-tier support for lawyers and Practice Executives, including billing, client and matter management, and time and costs management. Ensure all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Manage practice management and document management systems, striving for continuous improvement. Essential Skills and Experience: Degree in Accounting preferred.
