CGS Pharma require an Analytical Chemist to join their team in Cleveland, QLD.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Adheres to safety protocols and ensures compliance with Therapeutic Goods Administration/TGA regulations;
- Advises on preserving, processing, packaging, storing and delivering our therapeutic products;
- Analyses and conducts research to develop techniques and processes, and tests the reliability of products under controlled conditions;
- Conducts experiments and tests to identify the chemical composition and properties of natural substances and processed materials;
- Develops practical applications of research findings and manages quality control procedures and safety standards for the manufacture of therapeutic products;
- Implements and maintains safe laboratory practices;
- Keeps abreast of advancements in chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and related fields;
- Tests therapeutic products for flavour, colour, smell, texture and nutritional content;
- Works closely with interdisciplinary teams, including biologists, pharmacologists, and engineers.
To be considered you will need a level of skill commensurate with a relevant Bachelor degree or higher qualification and at least 2 years of post-qualification employment experience as a Chemist.
This is a full time position, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $75,000 - $85,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
