Our client is looking for a Workshop Supervisor with a HV Mechanic background based in North Melbourne.
You will be responsible for supervising a team of Mechanics and Welders to:
• Perform services on a plant equipment
• Perform services on a range of vehicles and EWP's
• Diagnose and repair of faults, plan repairs
• Data entry on work performed
• Preventative maintenance
• Schedule services
You will also be responsible for the hiring, development, and training of new staff.
Requirements:
• A background as a Mechanic
• Vehicle Mechanic trade qualification or other relevant tertiary education
• Proven experience running a workshop
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
• Must be quick on your feet and able to think outside the box
• White card
• First aid & CPR
• The ability to work autonomously, you will not be micromanaged
