Job description About the role: We're actively seeking a Software Performance Expert whose primary responsibility is to ensure that software applications meet or exceed performance standards. This involves designing and executing performance tests, analysing data to identify performance issues, and working closely with developers and other stakeholders to resolve these issues. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and pinpoint performance bottlenecks in our codebase. Enhance code readability, maintainability, and performance through refactoring. Optimize code to decrease CPU usage and enhance processing efficiency. Devise strategies to mitigate system latency and uphold responsiveness. Execute performance tests to gauge the impact of optimization endeavors. Foster collaboration with developers and IT colleagues to enact performance enhancements. Remain informed about cutting-edge performance optimization methods and industry best practices. Desired Criteria: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
