Support Vehicles Australia Pty Ltd (SVA) is a leading Design and Manufacture organisation supplying bespoke heavy equipment to key clients primarily in the Mining Industry within Western Australia.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Welder/Boilermaker to join our Workshop in a permanent full-time capacity at our Bassendean facility. The successful candidate will enjoy secure employment with a respected organization that produces high-quality products working on new equipment projects.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience in interpreting drawings
Desire to learn, take direction and follow process
The ability to work well within a team environment
Good time management skills
Positive attitude toward safety, quality and housekeeping
Experience in the manufacture and refurbishment of service trucks and/or watercarts will be well regarded
A 3G Weld Test will be required at interview.
Desirable Tickets/Certifications:
Confined space ticket
Working at heights ticket
Forklift license
Overhead Crane / Dogging
Welding Qualification (if available)
