Working Hours: Monday – Friday 9 – 5.30 (37.5 hours a week)
As the Business Unit Manager you will be the senior contact of media implementation within our retailer clients’ business, taking care of all senior level client relationships and delivering excellent service levels both yourself and via your team. Using this insight, coupled with your exceptional communication skills and sales acumen, you will build and maintain strong, lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set the strategy and vision for developing and improving our delivery to client, identifying opportunities to improve what we do.
- Be a respected and valued expert to our clients by keeping abreast of latest industry developments and making recommendations that deliver meaningful improvements.
- Support the Client Service Director, shadowing financial processes (FP, AP, 3+9 etc) and leading on stakeholder management.
- Build our capability and credibility to deliver business intelligence and insights to clients that help them to understand the value of our business, whilst also showing how we can further improve what we do.
- Drive and deliver the commercials.
- Build the right team to allow you to “lead” and provide strategic thinking for the wider team.
- Produce and present engaging, innovative proposals.
- Ensure high standards by holding to account/ taking ownership for broader teams to successfully deliver client needs against client expectations, KRA’s, target gross and net profit.
- Develop new business opportunities within your own client and beyond and support wider CPM initiatives on media implementation to help grow the CPM Group media implementation universe.
Requirements:
- Retail or agency background.
- Experience in media implementation / merchandising.
- A creative thinker who can breakdown a client brief/objectives and propose brilliant solutions.
- Strong client handling skills and experience managing clients at mid - senior level.
- Amazing people skills with the ability to build rapport and influence internal teams as needed.
- Commercially astute, good with numbers and able to demonstrate a capability to deliver commercial plans.
