CPM have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team, working on behalf of Amazon Fresh. As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing our Field based team, driving and maintaining our clients KPI’s, both in store and within the local area.

£33.5k, per annum. 10% bonus, laptop and phone provided. Use of own vehicle is essential, with mileage paid at 45p per mile. 37.5 hours per week Monday- Friday (There may be a requirement to work weekends as agreed with the line manager. Where this applies a day off in lieu will be given during the week.)

Region:  Sevenoaks, Croydon, Holborn, Southwark, Islington, Euston, Nottinghill, Kensington, white City, Canary wharf, Shoreditch, Wembley, Chingford, Richmond, Hounslow

What will you be doing?

As our Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of the Local Marketing Programme, and Sampling activities for 20 Amazon Fresh stores, within Central London.

You will manage a team of 3 Business Development Executives. This team will be dedicated to promoting Amazon Fresh stores within the local community, and ultimately driving new customers and footfall into stores. 

In-store Sampling activities will also be carried out by a team of 6 Brand Ambassadors (initially), and as our Area Sales Manager, you will manage this team and support the growth and the overall success of the sampling programme.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • To manage a team of part time Field Colleagues, ensuring the delivery of client coverage and quality KPI's.
  • To ensure each colleague has the training and tools (both physical and mental) to deliver the role in relation to implementation guidelines, contractual procedures, and H&S guidelines.
  • Ensure that new colleagues receive the right onboarding training and support.
  • To ensure colleagues report on their activities, using the appropriate reporting tools, in a timely manner.
  • Be responsible for ensuring all shifts are filled with the appropriate member of staff.
  • Build productive working relationships with all colleagues, ensuring that all contractual procedures are adhered to.
  • To assess and review performance through store visits and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement, through effective and timely reviews and discussions with both colleagues and store management teams.
  • To communicate effectively with store management, ensuring excellent working relationships are developed and maintained via stores visits, telephone, or email.
  • Responsible for continuous personal development, undertaking relevant training as and when appropriate.
