The Manager, Superannuation and Corporate Remuneration is responsible for executing the Qantas Group’s superannuation strategy in Australia and globally. The role provides advice and recommendations to internal stakeholders and Senior Management on matters such as: government policy changes, legal and regulatory requirements, industry developments and manages the superannuation governance framework. The role works with superannuation funds (e.g. Qantas Super) and a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Industrial Relations, People, Legal, external legal, actuarial and consulting advisors).

The successful candidate will: own Qantas’s superannuation governance framework, assist in the management of key relationships, resolve superannuation matters and be responsible for delivering projects in the remuneration portfolio, contributing to the broader Corporate Remuneration team.

You’ll have –

  • 7+ years’ experience in a policy, legal or strategy role

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Public Policy, Economics or a related field

  • Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to understand and solve complex analytical problems

  • Highly developed skills in senior stakeholder management and project management

  • Ability to own and lead issue resolution and monitor compliance and governance

  • An understanding of / experience in superannuation highly desirable but not essential
