Molly's Irish Pub have an opportunity to lead the opening kitchen team for an exciting new venue on Beaufort Street in Highgate, Perth.
Our Story:
Molly’s Irish Pub is an independently owned and operated venue with a commitment to exceptional customer service and community values. Situated in the heart of Highgate, Molly’s is one of the newest additions to Beaufort Street’s vibrant bar and restaurant precinct.
When it comes to our menu there’s plenty to choose from. Savour the taste of authentic pub classics, daily chef specials and locally sourced ingredients packed with flavour.

The Role:
We’re on the hunt for a hardworking and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team.
We’re looking for applicants with the following experience:
- 3+ years' experience in a senior kitchen management role
- Strong team management and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to understand direction and work autonomously
- Understanding of Irish/British cuisine is preferred but not necessary
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and the ability to manage your own workload
- Strong back-of-house knowledge including cost and labour control
- In-depth knowledge of food handling, safety and sanitation standards
Responsibilities will include:
- Rostering
- Ordering
- Wage control
- Cost management
- Kitchen management
- Reporting directly to directors
- Menu design
- Supplier tendering

This is a full time opportunity working 45 hours per week on a rotating roster. Remuneration between $85,000 and $90,000, depending on skills and experience, will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
