Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, the Civil and Rehabilitation Engineer key responsibilities include supporting planning process of the project and assisting with the coordination, planning, design and compliance of project activities in accordance with the safety health management system. Core requirements of the role include design and management of the drill and blast activities, planning, scheduling and quality control of rehabilitation activities, site inspections, developing solutions and designs for site issues, developing and monitoring quality, and engaging clients and stakeholders to innovate and improve site outcomes. With a tertiary qualification in Mining or Civil Engineering, you will have experience in Drill and Blast planning ideally with Data Blast software and electronic timing plans. Exposure to mining software such as Deswik or Vulcan and planning of bulk earth works such as dozer push, truck and shovel, and dragline operations is also required.
