POSITION: SEAFOOD PROCESS WORKER
Location: Dover, TAS 7117
Tenure: Full-time, Permanent
Comprehensive salary package from $70,000 (plus superannuation)
Required Skills and Experience:
• AQF Certificate I, or compulsory secondary education
• At least 3 years recent and relevant work experience
Position Summary:
On behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment Services is looking for a skilled and experienced Seafood Process Workers who have strong communication skills, are self-motivated and must have the ability to work with a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently process seafood (cleaning, cutting, filleting, and packing)
- Operate processing equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
- Comply with all safety and quality regulations
- Assist in inventory management and stock control
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets
Other essential skills:
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work in a chilled process room/ freezer environment
• To maintain a high level of hygiene
• Good hand-eye coordination
