Poyser Motor Group is currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Automotive Electrician to join their service department.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Determine malfunction of electrical systems by visual inspection of vehicle/ equipment and coordinate with workshop and client appropriate actions or repairs.
- Repair or replace defective wiring on all automotive electrical circuits such as lighting, ignition systems, safety systems, instruments and air conditioning.
- Installation of automotive electrical accessories such as lighting, radio equipment, GPS systems and electric braking systems.
- The capability to utilize electronic testing equipment, wiring diagrams and specification listings to diagnose and repair electrical faults.
- Diagnosis of starting and charging faults including the removal, repair and or replacement of such components as alternators, starter motors and batteries.
- Diagnosis and repair or replacement of automotive air condition systems including compressors, condensers, evaporators, hoses, re gassing and electrical repairs.
- Completion of paperwork including job cards and appropriate filing of invoices for purchased parts or equipment.
- Complies with the highest level of safety at workshop and site to avoid any type of accidents
Qualifications Required:
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years experience within a similar role
Salary range is $70,000 -$80,000 commensurate with experience
Hours: fulltime
