Genis Steel are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Construction Project Manager to join their team in Somerton.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Consulting with Architects, Engineering Professionals, and other professionals, and Technical and Trades Workers.
- Coordinating labour resources, and procurement and delivery of materials, plant, and equipment
- Preparing tenders and contract bids
- Negotiating with building owners, property developers and subcontractors involved in the construction process to ensure projects are completed on time and with budget
- Operating and implementing coordinated work programs on site
- Ensuring adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality, cost, and safety.
- Overseeing the standard and progress of subcontractor’s work
- Arranging submission of plans to local authorities
Skills and Abilities:
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager
- Degree in Construction Project Management or equivalent
- Is experienced in managing all aspects of the project including commercial
- Ability to work in a team environment
Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience
