Come and discover the opportunity to join the Campbellfield team in our Fielders business as a Customer Service Representative. With a proud history starting in Adelaide, today Fielders manufactures and markets steel building products across Australia. We deliver customer-inspired outcomes that support architects, engineers, builders, installers and property owners in creating their vision.

Our customers are a mix of homeowners and builders requiring a variety of superior products and solutions that we offer. As the face of BlueScope, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that each customer receives nothing short of exceptional service.

This is a Monday to Friday role, working a 38-hour week.

What Will You Do?

This position offers diversity and opportunity for an enthusiastic team player who enjoys the full spectrum of a busy workplace. Alongside general sales and customer service responsibilities, your duties will include:

  • interacting with our customers via phone and email managing quotes and queries
  • following up on quotations and inquiries converting these into sales opportunities
  • collaborating with internal stakeholders including marketing, warehouse and sales departments to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met - including product specifications, special packaging, and delivery timetable
  • administrational task
  • scheduling and booking orders/shed components
  • continuously look at new ways of improving the customer experience and consistently improving the total value proposition

  • the ability to work under pressure and prioritise deadlines
  • experience working in a customer service environment
  • high attention to detail and ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • a strong customer focus with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
  • a willingness to grow, learn and develop yourself
  • demonstrated computer competency including MS Office
