What you'll be doing:
As Reservations Manager, you will lead the Reservations team and play a critical role in creating the perfect stay for each and every one of our guests. You are a natural leader who thrives in a team environment and possess strong organisational and time management skills with an impeccable eye for detail.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building effective business relationships with key clients and travel agents through the delivery of outstanding customer service, whether over the phone, email or face-to-face
- Ensuring the Reservations team use the hotel systems to process and input reservations in an accurate and efficient manner
- Maintaining a positive selling approach to maximise yield in both occupancy and rates, reporting directly to the Revenue Manager
- Possess strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workflow and workload individually and across the team
- Producing and distributing rooming lists and confirmations as required and maintain regular communication with clients
- Undertake group reservation tasks such as actioning releases and loading rooming lists for multiple properties
- Nurture business relationships with key clients and travel agents to encourage loyalty
- Promote all hotel facilities, cross sell and upsell where appropriate
- Actively work with the front office team on how to sell the hotel, convert enquiries to reservations and be aware of all promotions
- Work with Sales & Marketing to promote packages and special offers
