Shovel Operator An opportunity has arisen for experienced Shovel Operator's at Northern Star Resources' KCGM Site, the Fimiston Superpit. Reporting to the Mining Open Pit Supervisor, the Shovel Operator’s will efficiently conduct Excavators, Face Shovels and other mobile plant activities in the Fimiston Open Pit (Superpit) to ensure that production targets are achieved in a timely and safe manner within the guidelines of statutory requirements and NSR-KCGM standards. This residential position is an even time 7 on, 7 off roster, working 12 hour shifts, days and nights. The successful candidate must possess the following attributes: Essential Minimum five (5) years ancillary operating experience in a hard rock mining environment. Minimum two (2) years shovel (five hundred (500) tonnes ) operating experience Strong understanding of mining sequence process and activities.
