Skills and Experience
• Liaise with the Executive Chef on menu planning, budgets, wage analysis.
• Ordering food and store supplies to required
• Qualifications in Cookery – Diploma level preferred
• Enjoy working in a busy environment with a true passion for Italian cooking.
• Follow venue menu planning for preparation and cooking.
• Strong knowledge of preparation and presentation.
• Confident if filling breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts.
• A keen eye for detail and a positive and proactive approach
• Strong and detailed business acumen for kitchen operations
• Proven ability to lead by example and foster a creative and organised environment where team members take pride in their work.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Motivated, with a drive to challenge yourself daily and deliver the very best.
• Mentor staff and apprentices
Qualifications:
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma / Diploma
• 3 years relevant experience in a busy restaurant
The right candidate will be renumerated in accordance with their experience, $72 500 plus superannuation.
