DCI Electrical Services (WA) Pty Ltd, a leading provider of electrical & civil services to the mining industry in Western Australia and is seeking an experienced qualified Quantity Surveyor to support our Project team in the Pilbara region.


Perth based role with possible site visits in Karratha. Competitive rates offered.


Main Duties
Read and interpret construction documentation and design drawings including scope of works.
Conduct comprehensive quantity take-offs and cost analyses.
Evaluate and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry regulations.
Measuring and describing the work including the preparation of tender documentation and negotiation with contractors.
Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure effective cost control and contract administration.
Undertaking the valuing of variations and potential variations.
Provide ongoing cost advice and guidance to project teams.
Prepare and present regular reports on cost analysis, detailed budget updates and cost plans.


Requirements:
Ideally have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator.
Relevant recognised qualifications.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suit and relevant Software experience.
Current manual C class drivers' licence.
Have a strong work ethic and the ability to work in remote areas.
Ability to work successfully within a team, autonomously and unsupervised.
Great organisation skills.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written, dealing with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
Strong negotiating skills.
Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
Full Australian working rights essential.
