We have developed a wealth of minerals processing, non-process and underground infrastructure expertise with a reputation as a nimble operator who gets the job done right first time.
As a mid-tier multi-disciplined engineering services company, we are large enough to have sophisticated processes and systems in place to attract, develop and retain highly skilled and talented people.

CPC Engineering has locations in Perth, Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie and Esperance/Albany and are now recruiting for the following professional full-time position offering $125,000 - $135,000 per year, 2:1 roster:

MECHANICAL ENGINEERS
Experience / Role Responsibilities:
Industry related higher education degree.
5 years plus experience – Senior Role
10 years plus experience – Lead Role
Experience with design calculations and layout of minerals processing plants, including flotation, carbon-in-leach (CIL), slurry pumping.
Engineering delivery experience, including development of technical engineering documents, datasheets, equipment specifications, drawings, schedules and models.
Advanced knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices.
Experience in bulk solids handling and conveyor design.
Ability to lead / coordinate engineering & drafting.
Ability to mentor and develop junior mechanical engineers.
Ensure technical compliance of design deliverables.
Ensure designs are fit for purpose and have considered all aspects including, cost, constructability, operability and maintainability.
Provide input into design tenders.
Site experience during construction and commissioning preferred.
Innovative and flexible approach to problem solving, an ability to analyse and resolve complex issues.

Skills and Abilities:
High level communication skills - written and verbal.
Attention to detail.
Takes ownership of work.
Strong computer literacy.
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Competent and good knowledge of Microsoft: Excel, Word
Ability to engage with clients.
Experience with software packages Fluid Flow, Sidewinder or exposure to Helix.
