We are seeking a full time, experienced Baker with a passion for baking techniques to join our team in Gatton, Queensland.
To be considered for this role, the candidate must be able to work well independently, as well as with a team in a fast paced environment.
You will need to have the skills /experience to complete the listed daily responsibilities which include
* Planning, organising, preparing and baking of bread loaves and rolls, buns, cakes, biscuits and pastry goods as detailed in our menu of
products.
* Mixing, cutting, moulding and shaping dough and pastry goods and preparing pastry fillings.
* Operating ovens to produce consistent, high quality bakery products.
* Ensuring that oven temperatures and time is in accordance with the type of product to be baked and baked items meet company standards.
* Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc, and produce orders within budget.
* Maintaining quality and quantity control in accordance with established standards.
* Working with other Bakers and the Production Manager to ensure a high standard of the product quality and range is achieved.
* Collaborating effectively with colleagues in a Bakery Department while also excelling independently.
* Cleaning and maintaining bakery machinery and equipment while adhering to safety protocol.
* Adhere to all OH & Safety Standards.
