Aircon & Refrigeration Mechanic Required x 2
Icool Aircon Pty Ltd is an established and reputable air conditioning & refrigeration company specialising in residential, industrial, and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance of air conditioning solutions.
As the business continues to rapidly grow, we are looking for a qualified and experienced Aircon & Refrigeration Mechanic, based full time in Sydney NSW. The salary range offered is $70K to $80K plus superannuation based on experience and skills. Immediate start. Skillset required is Certificate III in Aircon / Refrigeration, or equivalent work experience. 482 work-visa can be considered.
Main duties of this role include:
Install, service and repair air-conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment
Determine installation and repair work through drawings, layouts, and specifications
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for aircon and refrigeration systems, and identify maintenance risks
Install, test and repair compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, gauges & switches
Undertake mechanical tasks such as drilling holes, mounting brackets, duct work, installing grills, and roof layouts
Clean, adjust and repair aircon and refrigeration systems, and performing warranty services
Perform emergency repairs as per client complaints and requirements
Resolve clients’ queries, and provide job and service quotation after assessments
Record malfunctions and repair logs for maintenance, monitoring, and warranties
Ensure compliance with appliance standards and other regulatory guidelines
Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to junior staff
Minimise inventory loss, order parts and ensure budget control for each job
