Shotfirer / MPU Operator - 2 roles

About the Positions Due to continuous growth and internal movements in our business, two new opportunities have arisen to join our team at the New Burton coal mine.  We are actively seeking an experienced Shotfirer and an experienced MPU Operator to work a 7/7 day shift only roster. Core accountabilities include: - Safe and efficient surface shotfiring operations - Shotfirer only - Safe and efficient operation of our Mobile Processing Units (MPUs) - MPU Operator only - Carry out pre-starts - Regularly carry out workplace Take 5’s - Attend toolbox discussions - Contribute to a respectful and inclusive work environment About you • Experience in shotfiring operations in an open cut environment essential, using both non-electric and electronic blasting systems (desired) - Shotfirer only • Experience in operating MPU's in an open cut environment essential - MPU Operator only • Demonstrated experience working in the drill & blast industry  • Unwavering commitment to safety and efficiency •…
