Work in our Safer, Smarter Infrastructure Group within a team of globally recognised experts who are focused on providing exceptional outcomes to our clients within the Transport Infrastructure sector.
Our Pavement Engineer position is a Full-Time ongoing role based within our Port Melbourne Office.
Main duties of the role
• Assist our teams to create new ideas and initiatives within the Pavements field
• Develop proposals and secure opportunities within the Transport Infrastructure arena
• Be a key contributor in undertaking research projects for international, national, state and local government agencies
About you
• Hold a Bachelors’ or higher qualification in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Pavement and Asset Management or related engineering and science areas
• 3+ years relevant transport infrastructure experience with a good understanding of infrastructure sustainability, resilience and materials performance specifications and standards
• Previous experience in unsealed roads and/ or specialised pavement materials skills desirable
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Well-developed technical report writing skills
• Reasonable analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities, work with team to design laboratory studies and field trials and interpreting their results accurately and concisely
