We require 50 workers for harvesting and pruning in Tanunda, SA.
The work includes harvesting, pruning, planting and general farm labouring.
Work will commence in June 2024 and be ongoing for 1-4 years.
Individuals must have a resilient attitude towards outdoor work, be capable of thriving in various weather conditions and be willing to accommodate flexible schedules, including weekends and early morning starts. General hours of work are between 6am and 5pm.
Physical fitness is paramount, as tasks entail lifting, bending, and carrying heavy harvest buckets on uneven terrain. You will also need to sustain positions like bending and squatting for extended periods throughout the day.
While prior experience is beneficial, comprehensive training will be provided, offering the potential for skill enhancement and growth within the team. It's crucial to understand that these roles demand meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to preserving vine health and optimising grape quality, making each day in the vineyard both challenging and rewarding.
Successful candidates will be offered employment on a full time basis and paid under the Wine Industry Award 2020.
