NDF AG-Design are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Vehicle Painter to join their team in Narromine.

Under general supervision the Vehicle Painter performs essential duties to ensure that vehicles are prepared, undercoated/etch primed and top coated to the specifications consistent to the required outcomes of NDF AG Design.

Core objectives include:

• Identify workmanship and material defects and deficiencies on vehicles and advise the Department Supervisor for rectification prior to paint.
• Prepare and hang vehicle panels on painting racks.
• Mask vehicle surfaces where required for painting
• Mix paints to their appropriate formulas
• Etch Prime/Undercoat/Topcoat vehicles as required
• Inspecting vehicles following painting to ensure the finish of all painted surfaces are up to standard
• Maintenance of all Painting equipment, daily cleaning of equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is in good condition to ensure a quality paint finish. •.
• Following company OH&S Standards and reporting to management.
• Other duties related to vehicle painting as requested by management.


Qualifications/Industry Experience

• Qualified in Automotive painting, spray painting or a related discipline
• Experienced in safe use of 2k and enamel paints
• Demonstrated knowledge of Paint preparation
• Understanding of Paint finishes and application techniques.
• Competent in safe use of Chemicals and solvents.
- Competent is use of tools & associated industry standard equipment.

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience.
Fulltime Position available
