Reporting directly to the Senior Management team, you will be tasked with planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and coordinating our projects, as well as managing the physical and human resources involved in these processes.
The duties and responsibilities of this role encompass various aspects, including but not limited to:
• Interpreting drawings and specifications accurately.
• Efficiently scheduling labor resources and overseeing the procurement and delivery of materials, plant, and equipment.
• Collaborating with engineering professionals, other experts, and technical/trades workers.
• Negotiating with MRWA, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Preparing tenders and contract bids with precision.
• Implementing and managing coordinated work programs for project sites.
• Ensuring strict adherence to building legislation and performance, quality, cost, and safety standards.
• Coordinating the submission of plans to relevant authorities.
• Supervising and monitoring the quality and progress of subcontractors' work.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:
• Possession of relevant qualifications or at least 5 years' experience in the field.
• Proactive approach to identifying and addressing project requirements.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Intermediate computer proficiency in Excel, Word, MYOB, and Outlook.
• Ability to problem-solve and effectively prioritize workload.
• Meticulous attention to detail coupled with energy and enthusiasm.
• Outstanding presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Well-presented, organized, and reliable.
