Role: Bricklayer
Classification: Building and Construction General On-site (MA000020) Level 1 CW/ECW 1
Rate: 40,000-60,000AUD
approximate start date - Mid May 2024
Ongoing position: (6 months or more full time)
Open Vacancy: 5
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday. 38 hrs minimum/week. Potential Overtime available
Duties:
- Measure work areas and set out the first rows of bricks or blocks.
- Mix mortar by hand or with a mechanical mixer
- Use a trowel to lay bricks and mortar
- Shape and trim bricks using hammers, chisels and power tools
- Check that rows are straight using a spirit level, laser level or plumb line
- Ability to work within a team environment supervised
- Adhere to WHS requirements
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Sound communication skills
