Your new role In your new role as Logistics Officer, you'll bring your previous experience in import/export logistics to contribute to day-to-day operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
Coordination of end-to-end fulfilment operations, collaborating with third-party logistics providers, coordinating local and domestic shipments, ensuring on time delivery.
Management of inventory movements both internal and external, ensuring data integrity within the ERP system and overall stock accuracy.
Completion of all relevant paperwork, supporting the logistics manager to ensure all paperwork is completed accurately, arranging necessary licenses and customs clearance.
Working with key internal stakeholders across multiple business units (including sales, production, R&D) to ensure deadlines are met and goods are delivered on time to customers.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a similar role in logistics/freight/transport, ideally within a controlled goods environment, with relevant qualifications highly regarded.
Demonstrated understanding of end-to-end logistics covering import, export, and road freight, with experience working with freight forwarders highly regarded.
Strong systems skills, with ERP systems experience, and full competency in MS Office.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work variable hours when required.
