Byron Aged Care (BAC) is a boutique 41 bed aged care facility located in the heart of beautiful Byron Bay, caring for residents in a homelike setting on one acre of grounds within walking distance to the beach. Local residents have come to appreciate Byron Aged Care as the specialist dementia nursing home within the Northern Rivers district of NSW.
We are currently seeking qualified Assistant Nurses to join our team at Byron Aged Care on a Full Time or Part time basis.
Role Essentials:
Position - Permanent opportunity available
Shift coverage - AM/PM and Night
Rostered shifts - Hours Negotiable
Availability - Across 7 day roster (Monday to Sunday)
Qualifications & Skills:
- Holds a minimum Certificate Level III in Aged Care or equivalent
- Experience in the provision of residential aged care (specifically people with dementia) providing a high standard of nursing care i.e personal cares, continence management, challenging behaviours & manual handling
- Residency & permission to work in Australia
- National Police Clearance Certificate (upon role offer)
