Business Application Administrator - Six Months Contract - CBD location Your new company
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Application Administrator for our well-known client in the government sector.
Your new role
The position involves working with internal staff and external stakeholders to support their day-to-day use of our business applications. This could involve troubleshooting issues, providing ad-hoc guidance and training, escalating to and working with vendors and 3rd party support providers. The role will also involve keeping business application documentation up to date. This includes process flows, procedures, support articles and other resources. The role plays a key part in ensuring the business applications are well-supported, especially as the organisation undergoes a period of significant digital transformation.
Maintaining the current business applications.
Updating configuration settings of business applications to meet business requirements.
Responding to internal service requests and incident reports via phone, email and chat.
Responding to all CRM and website support requests.
Mentor the Service Desk team to support Level 1 requests.
Acting as the escalation point for 2nd/3rd level business application issues.
Liaising with vendor partners if required to escalate and resolve issues.
Responding to requests for updated reports and views.
Performing root cause analysis and resolve problems.
Providing ad-hoc training and support to the internal users for the use of business applications.
What you'll need to succeed
Prior experience on supporting Business Applications.
Proven strong technical skills, especially in MS Dynamics (on prem) and SharePoint (on prem)
Well-developed problem-solving skills and interpret bespoke custom business processes
Experience in prioritising requests by level of impact and urgency
Capacity to understand existing processes and interpret documentation
Ability to pick up and administer a wide range of business applications quickly
Proactive and customer-focused approach
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken)
