Award winning car service centre is looking for full time motor mechanics to perform following Duties
• Inspecting and identifying the faults
• Repairing and maintenance of diesel/petrol vehicle engines
• Repairing and servicing of vechicles such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations
• Performing schedule maintenance services as per the required standards
• Detecting and diagnosing the mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts
• Analysing and repairing the electronic faults in air conditioning and HVAC systems, fuel injection systems and so on
• General servicing and maintenance of all makes and models of vehicles
• Testing the vehicles after repairs to ensure that vehicle is safe to use
• Reassembling engines ( Specifically Diesel) and parts after being repaired - testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
• Providing expert advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks of the customer's vehicles
• Performing when alignments and post alignments check as per the required policy and procedures
• Estimating the cost involved for the repair works
• Managing the spare parts order and stock
• Troubleshooting the faults of different models using computerised techniques
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Skills and Experience:
• Relevant minimum trade qualifications
• 2 years of experience working on different vehicles repairs and services
• Familiar with WHS safety, quality inspection and safety
• Complete the tasks in a timely manner
• Knowledge of repairing electrical components and engines
• Knowledge and compliance with work health and safety procedures
• Good communication skills to deal with customers and the team members
• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Able to work unsupervised. Attractive salary packages will be offered from $60k AUD —$80k AUD
