We are an Industry leader in the manufacture, distribution, service and sales of Forklifts, Dedicated Container Handlers, Empty Container Handlers, Reach Stackers.
Currently we have several Heavy Truck and Forklift Field and Workshop Service Technician positions available at our Smithfield location. We are seeking someone that is technical, has the right professional attitude towards their work, is self-motivated to learn the Heavy Forklift industry and is customer focused. Our customers are predominantly in the Logistics, Intermodal and Warehouse industry as well as other supply chain businesses.
The successful applicants will need to demonstrate that they are able to work independently, have a strong customer focus, punctual and prepared to work an on-call roster.
What we are looking for:
*At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role or a have technical skills in similar industry
*Willingness to learn our Forklift Equipment
*Full car license or MR License
*Able time manage their day
*Understanding of parts interpretation (not essential)
*Excellent customer relationship skills
*A good understanding of computer systems and current technologies
Following skills are advantageous:
*Experience in hydraulics and electrical circuits
*Product knowledge of heavy equipment
*MR, Forklift, EWP, plant and LPG licenses, would be advantageous
