About the Position As the Indigenous Australian Employment Specialist, you are responsible for taking a lead role in identifying, developing, promoting and implementing Indigenous Australian employment and development opportunities throughout the university. As a specialist in attraction, retention, support and development strategies for QUT staff who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, you also promote QUT as a preferred employer within Indigenous Australian communities and to prospective candidates. You will provide executive officer support to the relevant committees / groups to ensure appropriate consultation and ongoing effective implementation of the QUT Indigenous Australian Employment Strategy.
