20 Positions are required for a farm hand in the Emerald Region. Wages will be paid at the award rate of the horticulture award Level 1, (MA000028)
The work is physically demanding and there are regular period of hot and humid weather along with cold and windy weather. The average hours will be 38 hours but there may be times that you will be required to work additional hours depending of crop requirements.
Applicants need to be physically fit and self-motivated, Having previous experience will be favourable as well as having your own vehicle and drivers licence.
Duties may include but not limited to are:
Harvesting crop
Planting of new crop
pruning of crop
packing of crop
You must be able to work as a part of team and follow all lawful directions of the team leader and farm owners.
