Are you a self-motivated individual passionate about community engagement? We are seeking a Waste Enforcement Officer to spearhead our efforts in protecting Fairfield City's environment through enforcement and education initiatives. As a Waste Enforcement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in implementing key programs aimed at tackling illegal dumping, littering, and promoting effective waste management practices in alignment with our City Plan for a Cleaner and Greener City. You'll be at the forefront of investigating, detecting, and deterring individuals from engaging in activities that harm our environment. Essential Requirements: Certificate IV in Local Government Investigations. Demonstrated experience, knowledge, and understanding of investigation processes and procedures. Proficiency in different investigation strategies, including covert and overt operations and surveillance. Thorough understanding of enforcement powers outlined in relevant legislation.
